About Hear’s The Plan

Built from real hearing practice experience.

Practical guidance grounded in the realities of running a busy clinic.

My journey in the hearing industry

Hear’s The Plan was created to help hearing practices make complicated billing and operational challenges feel more manageable. My goal is to give clinic owners and teams clear, practical systems they can actually use—not just ideas that sound good on paper.

I began my career in hearing healthcare 16 years ago as the first receptionist at a Portland-based audiology practice, working just 10 hours a week. About a year and a half later, I moved into a project management role and continued growing within the practice.

From there, I became office manager, then practice manager, and ultimately Director of Operations. Working my way through so many different roles gave me a firsthand understanding of what it takes to keep a practice running well.

One of the most meaningful changes I led was transitioning a large practice to an unbundled billing model. Through that process, I also learned how to better utilize insurances and create systems that allowed the practice to serve more Medicaid patients while remaining financially profitable.

That experience stayed with me. I began to wonder why more practices were not using these same opportunities to strengthen their business while also reaching patients who are often underserved in hearing healthcare.

That question ultimately led me to create Hear’s The Plan. Today, I work alongside hearing practices to improve billing and insurance processes, strengthen operations, and make thoughtful changes that support long-term growth.
